The dismissal allows the case to be refiled in the future if new circumstances arise that warrant further legal action.

The State of Virginia, alongside federal authorities, has reaffirmed that hemp processors, growers, and dealers operating within federal law will not face prosecution or criminalization. Additionally, Virginia cannot impede the shipment or movement of hemp through the state.
